My family and I visited my Mom and sisters in Toronto at the end of May. We generally make two visits a year and this was one of the them. It was great to see my Mom and sisters and I enjoyed my Mom's home cooked food. Yummy!

Ranie's New House

My sister Ranie has been looking to buy a house for quite some time now, and she has finally settled on this one. Her realtor managed to organize a viewing of the house for us during our visit to Toronto last week. It's a beautiful 3 year old semi-detached house in a nice neighbourhood in Brampton, Ontario, which is in the Greater Toronto Area.
This house has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, kitchen, living room, family room, small dining area, laundry room and a semi finished basement. There's also a park and a natural pond near the house.

Chapatti (Indian Roti)

My Mom made Indian bread called Chapatti.
This is a staple food for Indians, specifically Indians
originating from North India. We call it roti.
She made it everyday during my visit with her in Toronto last week.

They call her "Maaji", meaning Grandma in Punjabi.

Tootsie Pop

It took Diane 263 licks to get to the tootsie roll in the center of the lolly pop.

Mark wanted to get this exact same bike recently, but due to domestic controls, he had to back off! Oh poor little man! His would have been red and black. Oooooooh.......... it would have looked so good, but now we would never know.
