Syriana

I watched this movie this afternoon. I spent Christmas Eve alone as Jen and kids went to her mother's in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec for Christmas. I didn't go as I'm highly allergic to cats and they have a few of them. I get very sick with severe breathing difficulties, and at times come down with pneumonia. I love to be with my family and miss them a lot, but I can't stand being miserably sick as I have done so many times in the past. I had some wine and Chinese for dinner, and watched another movie which I rented, The Interpreter.

My X'mas Gifts

I received these gifts from Jen for Christmas. I got a sweatshirt and a "Wine For Dummies" book. I guess I must drink a lot of it to deserve this book. She also gave me a wine pourer / sealer which you stick in the wine bottle to pour it and then cap what you don't finish. That doesn't seem like a problem for me!

Blogger Sweatshirt

I received this sweatshirt from my buddy Matt, who now lives in Kansas City, Missouri with his wife, Bernie. He surprised me and I was really excited to get this from him. The funny thing is that, I was surfing the Google Store earlier this week and wanted to get this sweatshirt for myself. It was appropriate as I'm a heavy blogger and use Blogger to blog my blogs!! Matt read my mind! Thank you so much, Matt. I love it and really appreciate it. I'll post a picture of me wearing it to work next week. Merry Christmas, Dude!

Damn It!!

Damn, damn, damn!!! My mailbox was destroyed again!! What the f@&%*#!! I'm really starting to get pissed now. Don't these people have anything better to do than to mess with my mailbox? I'm starting to wonder if it has anything to do with brown! So, in order to get my mail today, I gently placed the mailbox on the broken post. It stayed there long enough for the mail person to deliver my mail. I was glad to receive my mail as I received something special from my buddy Matt from Kansas City, Missouri.

The Bouquet

Jen received this bouquet of flowers from some of her co-workers. They Thanked her for her friendship and for her hard work and support. Jen really has some awesome co-workers. They are always there when you need them and treat you like family instead of friends. You go Jen!!

Mailbox Repaired

We didn't receive any mail for a couple of days as our mailbox was down on the ground. So, I decided to repair it today with some nails and the handy duct tape! I received some mail today. Woohooo!

Rubik Mona Lisa

Here's Mona Lisa which was entirely created by the Rubik's Cube.

Sabrina Lost Tooth #6

Sabrina is on a roll and lost another tooth. This time she managed to save the tooth and brought it home. This is starting to get expensive!! She looks quite funny and I had a good chuckle. Hannah was singing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth,..........." How appropriate. I laughed even more.

X Marks The Spot

I was driving to work this morning when I spotted these lines in the sky created by an aircraft or two.

Happy Holidays

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Sabrina Lost Tooth #5

Sabrina lost her 5th tooth in school today. Apparently, she placed the tooth in her pocket to show me when she got home, but she literally lost it! She said that she will write a note to the Tooth Fairy in place of the physical tooth.

Mailbox Vandalized

My mailbox was vandalized during the night. The post and framework was damaged and the mailbox was left on the side of the road. It's going to take some work to put it back together. I think the box will be salvageable and I will not have to buy a new one. Since, it's pretty cold to work out there, I will wait till it warms up a little. In the mean time, I will not receive any mail. This is the 2nd mailbox vandalism we've encountered in the last couple of years. I called the Police to report this matter but they didn't seem to care. My neighbour's mailbox was vandalized as well.

Between The Lines

This is Mark's car and this is how he parks! I thought they created these yellow lines so people would park between them. Maybe, Mark didn't get the memo. Maybe, he's just ..............!!

I Love You, Daddy

Sabrina wrote me this "I Love You" note. I love you too, Sweetheart!

Dear Santa by Hannah

Hannah wanted to write a letter to Santa, but since she's only 5 years old, Jen composed it for her and Hannah signed it. I have confidence that Santa will be able to meet her first three requests. We'll see.

SnowBaby

My kids made this snowman or snowbaby as they call it last weekend. They kept asking me for various items for the eyes, lips, etc. Since I didn't have any carrot sticks, I gave them red peppers, green beans, and orange peels. They used little rocks for the eyes and nose.
