This is how you do it!
Mark and I worked for a few hours bundling the cables and zip-tying them to make them look nice and neat and somewhat concealed from view. These are the computers in the new student lounge.

I went to a few places this past weekend to capture some images with my new Nikon D50 camera. I wanted to try it out and to learn some of it's features. There are so many and I haven't even scraped the top yet. So, some of the places I visited were, the Burlington Waterfront, Church St, and Lake Champlain by the Sandbar of Rt. 2A.

Cars - The Movie

Hannah and I watched the movie Cars this afternoon. Sabrina was invited to a birthday party, so Hannah and I decided to do something together. She wanted to go to the movies.
Cars is really a nice movie for kids and adults as well. It's well made. We both enjoyed it very much.

Superman Returns

I watched Superman Returns last night. I caught the 9:45PM showing.
The movie was pretty good.

Nikon D50 SLR

This is my new Nikon D50 SLR digital camera.
I've been wanting it for a while and I decided to pick it up from Costco today. I got the camera body, a 28-80mm lens, a 70-300mm lens, an SD card, a bag, and all the cables in a kit. I've been checking on prices everywhere, and Costco had the best deal, especially with the combination of the lenses. Just don't ask how much it cost me!

The reason for this purchase is that I'm getting into the groove of photography and I'm enjoying it very much. It's one of my hobbies and I feel relaxed and happy when I photograph. With this camera, I'll have the ability to capture professional quality shots. I'm hoping to learn and better myself. I'm really excited!

Pub 99

Had a nice dinner at Pub 99 last weekend with my family.

STS-121 Discovery

Watched the launch of the space shuttle Discovery (STS-121) at the relatives. They have a big screen TV and I took these pictures with my camera sitting about ten feet away. The shuttle launched on July 4th at 2:38PM.
They made it! Phew!

4th of July Parade

Attended the 4th of July Parade with my family, as we do every year. It's a nice event to attend, the kids love it, everyone is happy, and c'est la vie!

Burlington Fireworks

Watched the 4th of July fireworks at the Burlington waterfront this evening with my family. We found a great spot at Battery Park and had a perfect view of the fireworks. We all had a good time and enjoyed the display, but could have done without the mosquito bites!
