Delta Hotel - Montreal, QC

I visited Montreal last weekend and stayed at the Delta Hotel Centreville located on President Kennedy and De Maisonneuve Ave. My buddies Andy from Montreal, and Gary from Shawinigan joined me. Gary made the reservation and managed to snag a very good rate for the room. Due to a snafu by the Reservation Agent, we ended up getting an even better rate. During check-in, I managed to sweet talk the Front Desk Agent for a free upgrade. So, we ended up getting an awesome rate, an upgrade to a junior suite, and no charge for the cot.

They have a nice pool, sauna, hot tub, a squash court, a fitness area, a children's room, a massage center, two restaurants, a bar, a business center, underground parking, and so on. This is a good place to stay if you are visiting Montreal.

The Burning Sky

I was talking on the phone with Tom while driving home from work, when Tom said "Damn, I knew I should have gone to the lake today." Just then I turned my head to the left and figured out why he said that. I told him, "Got to go Tom. I've got to take some pictures." I pulled over a couple of times and took these pictures. I was only about 2.5 miles from my house.

Matt in Torino!

My goofy buddy Matt won the gold medal at the Winter Olympics in Torino, for the Donut Luge Race!! Way to go, Dude!!

Streak

Looks like a plane went by to cause this streak in the morning sky. I noticed it as I was fixing breakfast for my kids.

Kids at Play

My kids having a good time playing with their new toys and with each other on Sunday afternoon. It's nice to see them happy.

Computer Kids

My kids playing a computer game on one of my computers. Sabrina was teaching Hannah on what to do and how to play it.

Stripping Wallapaper

My wife has been busy stripping the wallpaper in our living room and the hallway between our bedrooms. My kids decided to do some art work on a small section of the wall after the wallpaper was stripped. The walls are going to be painted, so it's a no biggie.

Beautiful Sunrise

Awesome sunrise this morning. It was a beautiful day but it started to get pretty cold by early afternoon.

I saw these paintings on display at one of the buildings at work as I was heading home at the end of the work day. The displays were part of the Vagina Monologues. Some say it's a group, and some say it's a play. I have no idea!
