Self Reflection

A reflection of me in Lake Cabot!
I saw my shadow in the water while I was taking other pictures and thought it would be cool.

Nice Daddy!

These are the only couple of pictures taken of me during our recent camping trip to Quebec. These two pictures were taken by Travis (Jen's cousin) an hour or so before we left for home on the last day. I told him, "Dude, here's my camera. Get a couple of me in there, will ya!"
.......and he did.

Around St. Come, Quebec

These are scenes around the town of St. Come, Quebec.
Our cabin was approximately 15 to 20 miles from this town, which was the closest and only lifeline to the camping area. We had to pickup some provisions and other items on our second day at camp. What we noticed were lots of little boats placed on lawns like pink flamingos. We inquired and found out that the people of St. Come were promoting and celebrating an upcoming "Song and Water" Festival.

Broken Wing

We rescued this dragonfly from the lake, precisely Lake Cabot. We were wondering why this little critter was struggling on top of the water. Travis scooped it up with a boat oar and gently placed it on a pine tree branch. We noticed it had a broken wing.
For a moment, it reminded me of my co-worker, Sherrie with her broken foot!

I'm Back!!

Okay, Folks! I'm back!!

I've completed my wonderful camping trip and my mini vacation. The camping, location, lake, food, scenery, cabin, the company, and the peace of mind was great. We ate, drank, swam, canoed, explored, photographed, played, joked, and enjoyed life. I took over 600 pictures during the camping trip and most of them came out really awesome. You can check them out HERE!

Hazy Tower

Captured the UVM Water Tower with my cellphone while performing some tech support work for a user in one of the buildings.

Darkie

I still got a darn tan despite being brown and beautiful already!
I don't need no tan, I'm brown enough!

Lunch at The U-Mall

I had lunch at the mall last week with my posse, Mark and Gordon. It was nice to step away and have a change from our usual cafeteria at work.
......yes, offcourse, we did some people watching!

Red, White, and Blue!

So, what's the deal here?
How short is too short?
Are some people color blind? Do they dress up in the dark? Since when blue and red went together in this manner?
Why not wear undergarments on the outside like Madonna does?

Perfect American moment - red, white, blue, and blond!!

They Call Me Mellow Yellow!

Some call this sexy but some call it "white trash!"
Now, should underwear be this revealing in public? If so, then what's the point of wearing pants and shirts?? Well, it's time to ponder!

New Pool

I bought a new easy-set pool a few days ago and we set it up last weekend. It's a little late in the season but with the heat wave we've been having lately, this is pool is much welcomed by my family. The pool is huge for an easy set. It's 18 feet in diameter and 48 inches deep. I had to call the fresh water haulers for a load of water. The pool holds over 5000 gallons and the truck delivered 4200 gallons. We topped it off with the hose. We have a well and since my land sits on water, it wasn't a big deal. The pool was at around 64 degrees Fahrenheit when it was filled and it went up 10 degrees by the next day. It was at 84 degrees when I got back from work today.

Dude in a Ferrari

Caught this Dude pimping in someone's Ferrari!

Checked out the Ferrari exhibition on Church St. on Saturday afternoon. It was a good opportunity to play with my new Nikon D50 camera. I bumped into my co-worker Anthony who introduced me to the owner of this car. He allowed me to sit in his car for some photo ops.
