All Wrapped Up!

I went to work for a few hours today (Saturday) to catch up on some work, and found our desks and office covered in plastic. The contractors were installing a new sprinkler system, and they were doing this over the weekend to minimize any impact or downtime on us.

PDA Galore!

We (my office/dept) received just over 100 Dell Axim X51 handhelds on Thursday. These handhelds are part of a big project that's currently in progress. Basically, some of our students will be receiving one and will use it, particularly for a custom made application which is built by some of our geniuses in-house.

De Plane De Plane!!

Sabrina was playing with her K'nex set over the weekend and wanted to make something special for me. Since, she knows that I love planes, she decided to make a K'nex version of a jet plane. It turned out pretty good, and I love it. She did a great job!

Happy Birthday Lisa

My co-worker Lisa, turned 30 years old today. Woohoo!
Thanks to the ladies at work, mainly Diane and Heidi, we were able to celebrate her birthday. We tried to keep it as secret as possible but I think Lisa must have figured something was up. Diane's daughter made the cake and it was goooooood!

Hooters - Burlington, VT

I decided to pay a visit to the newest and only Hooters Restaurant in town today with my buddies, Mark and Justin. Ed, Jared, and Cisco (Jared's friend) joined us too. Since, it was a Friday and only the 5th day it's been opened, the place was packed. We waited for at least an hour before we got a table. Time went by fast as there was lots to see and lots to talk about! Our waitress was Jennifer, who you see in the last picture with me. We had a good time!

Life Inside Hooters!

Scenes inside the recently opened Hooters Restaurant in Burlington, Vermont.
This is the first and only Hooters in Vermont which opened on January 16, 2006. It's been packed with people as you can imagine, with waiting lines forming outside the doors. Parking spaces are impossible to find, so one has to park about a block or so away.

My co-worker, Diane made a cake and brought it to work for everyone to enjoy. Her daughter decorated it with icing which she made from scratch. It looked so good that no one wanted to cut it. Thanks Diane, and daughter!
