Advair - How Much Did Ya Say?

.
I haven't been feeling well for almost two weeks and I decided that it was time to see the doctor lady. So, off I went to the shop to get checked out and out I came with two prescriptions. Zithromax for my stuffiness, cold, and feeling like crap symptoms, and Advair for my allergies and upper respiratory issues.
.
I almost fell to the floor when I got the bill from the pharmacist. $116.83 for 1 month's worth of Advair and that's after what my insurance plan covered! Due to my severe allergies and asthma, I have to use Advair daily as part of my long term treatment but $100 a month is a little hard to inhale!!
I hope there will be a generic version very soon.
.
..........puff..........puff!!

Hammock

.
This is my Father's Day gift from my wife.
It's a portable hammock which can be setup almost anywhere very easily. The frame and fabric folds and fits snuggly into an over-the-shoulder bag. I've been using it a lot on the back deck but I have to fight my kids for it. It's very practical and I love it.
Thank you Jen.

Training Wheels Free!!

.
Sabrina successfully rode her bike today on two wheels! Woohoo!
My wife took the girls out this afternoon for a bike ride. She decided to take them to the school parking lot where there was ample room to practice and ride freely. Jen took the training wheels off and helped Sabrina ride her bike on two wheels. This is a big day for her and she is so excited and proud of herself. We are proud of her too. Sabrina was so happy of her accomplishments that she ended up calling all her relatives and some of her friends to share her good news.
Keep up the good work, girl. You are doing awesome!

Happy Father's Day!!

.
It's Father's Day today and I had an awesome one. Both of my kids showered me with gifts, hugs, kisses, and love. They really went out of their way to make sure that I was happy and enjoyed the day. Infact, they started Father's Day on Friday!
.
The above pictures indicate the thoughtful gifts I received from my kids. I received various cards, a banner, a picture frame, a paper weight, and a homemade candle holder shaped to look like a bee hive. I also received a hammock from my wife. This hammock comes with a easy-setup frame and can be used anywhere. Other than being sick this weekend, I had a good time with my family. I love my gifts, I love my family, and I'm very happy.
.
I love you, Jen, Sabrina, Hannah!
Happy Father's Day to all!

The Love of My Life

.
This is my beautiful wife, and my heart and soul. She is an incredible woman, a great mother, and a fabulous wife. I am truly blessed and priviledged to be her husband. I love her dearly.
Cheers, Hon!!

The Beauty & The Glass

.
Took this picture at the Olive Garden Restaurant at the end of May 2007. I took my camera with me and decided to experiment before and after the meal. I think this is a nice creative picture with a neat PoV.

Unusual Dragonfly

In this picture, my wife and mother-in-law are checking out a strange looking dragonfly.
.

This is the dragonfly they were taking a closer look at.

Horsing Around

.
We were on our way to a restaurant one evening when we decided to pull the car over to let the kids check out the horses. There are several horse farms near my house and this one is on our daily travel path. These horses were very friendly and came right over, hoping to get a treat.

Young Corn Husker

Hannah loves to husk corn when she gets the chance. Whenever Jen gets corn for dinner, Hannah is more than happy to help with the husking. In this picture, she's busy husking a few ears of corn on our new back deck.

Yummi Yummi Creamie!!

It's the season for creamies!
The weather has been great for a yummi creamie!

$3.03 Per Gallon

Lately, gas prices in the Burlington VT area have been over the $3.00 mark. I haven't seen it lower than $3.00, but if you do, let me know!
Boy, it's getting real expensive to drive now.

Deck Project - Side Entrance

And finally, the deck for our side entrance. It was redesigned and is a major improvement from the previous one.

Deck Project - The Front

Our mini mini deck at the front of the house.
We didn't want something too big here as we tend not to use this entrance too often. It's basically there for emergencies and as an alternate entrance into the house.

Deck Project - Back Deck

This is my new back deck. The dimensions are 16ft x 16ft.
It's pretty big and we love it. We've been spending a lot of time on the deck and infact, we've been having most of our dinners on the deck ever since it was completed on 6/5/07. We are enjoying our summer with our new deck.

Deck Project - The Start

We recently hired Phil to build all our decks after the excavation project. He started the project on 5/29/07. We are really impressed with his work and couldn't have asked for a better person to do the work. The pictures here are from the start of the project. Coincidentally, I had the day off from work, so I was able to capture these shots.
