Fun at Rehab

We visited Mommy at her work but she was busy. So, we started to play in her office area with most of the rehab stuff, like balls, weights, stretchy bands, etc. Mommy is an Occupational Therapist.

Friendly's

I was off from work and stayed home with Sabrina and Hannah between Christmas and New Year's. It was nice as we got to spend a lot of time together, and they were feeling very relaxed and happy. I decided to take them out for lunch on one of those days to the Friendly's Restaurant. The girls had fun colouring, enjoyed their lunch and off course ice cream too. We had a blast.

Sunset to Vermont

I left Montreal on Tuesday 12/27/05 at 3:30PM EST to return to Vermont. I was driving on Autoroute 15 South and was close to Lacolle, Quebec when I saw the beautiful colours in the sky and the sun starting to set. I pulled over several times to take various shots of this sunset. These images were taken between 4:00 and 4:30PM.

Hanging Out in Montreal

Hanging out at the hotel. Kids getting ready for bedtime.

Family and relatives having lunch at the Montreal train station food courts before starting on their long shopping expedition. Everyone left their jackets at the hotel as we were connected from the hotel to the shopping centers via the underground city.

Sabrina with her uncle Bert.
Rachael, trying on some dresses. She's Bert's daughter, Sabrina's cousin, Jen's niece, ............ Love the multi coloured socks with the nice black dress.

Outdoor Pool - Hilton Bonaventure

The heated outdoor swimming pool at the Hilton Bonaventure in downtown Montreal, Quebec. You get into the pool from the inside of the building as you can see in the picture on the top left. The temperature of the pool is kept at 30° C or 86° F.

Boxing Day!

It's Boxing Day in Canada!
No, not Mohammed Ali type of boxing but box up your received Christmas gifts for return or exchange type of boxing! Now, Boxing Day is like after Thanksgiving Day sales in the USA.

Snow Covered to Montreal

This is what I encountered while driving to Montreal on Monday morning. The weather and road conditions were fine on the Vermont side but once I crossed the Canadian border, it just started to come down good and the roads were getting nasty. I didn't look in the viewfinder or the LCD screen of my camera to take these pictures. I just held out my camera, pointed in the direction that I wanted, snapped, and hoped the pictures turned out good as I had no idea what I was capturing. Looks like they did turn out fine.

WMD Sign

I was behind this car waiting for my turn at the Canadian border on Monday morning when I noticed this homemade sign. I quickly whipped out my camera to take these pictures but was careful to be discreet as not to flag myself by the border agents for taking pictures of the Canadian boder. With the hightened security and best of all being brown, I didn't want to get pulled over by these guys for a cavity search!

King Kong

I watched this movie this evening. Showtime was at 4:45PM and the movie ended at 7:55PM. Long movie. The special effects were great but they dragged it way too long. On the positive side, Naomi Watts was hot in this movie. I didn't want to make the same mistake that Matt did by going to the bathroom mid-movie, so I held it in until the end. When they showed the credits, I bolted for the bathroom. Phew!
